Why Structural Chiropractic?

"Structure Determines Function"

Traditional Chiropractors:

Most chiropractors focus on helping your symptoms; decreasing pain and muscle spasms, increasing your range of motion… that type of thing. This generally falls under the umbrella of “managing symptoms” or “pain relief.” While this is beneficial it is not the whole picture and often results in symptoms returning once care has ceased.

Structural Chiropractic:

Think of your spine as the foundation for a house. If the foundation was off, eventually you would expect the floors to creak, the walls to crack, the windows to stick. Now you can spend your time patching the walls and trying to fix the damage, but you would do so with the expectation that in a short time the problems will have to be…..?

…Repaired Again…and Again…

You can use all the WD-40 in the world but that window will never be like it once was.

In contrast to constantly repairing damage (or managing symptoms), at Trestles Chiropractic, we focus on identifying and correcting the areas of the Foundation where structural changes have taken place. This results in an increase in functional capacity.

Our services aren’t for everyone. Structural correction takes time and effort, just like correcting any problem in life. However, if you are tired of constantly patching the problem and you’re looking for a long term solution that you can both feel AND see for yourself, then Trestles Chiropractic may be the right place for you.
